PTP Response to COVID 19 Update 3/20/2020

Dear Valued Customer,

We appreciate your continued support as we all adapt to the rapidly changing guidelines and restrictions to reduce the effects of COVID-19.
In response to Governor Wolf’s mandate that all, non-life sustaining businesses in the state of Pennsylvania shut down by 8pm on Thursday, March 19, 2020, PTP temporarily suspended operations on Friday, March 20, 2020. The PTP Response Command Team used the day to update our strategy to continue operations while safeguarding the health and safety of our employees and adhering to local government restrictions during this crisis.
PTP will reopen on Monday, March 23, 2020. In addition to the precautionary steps we took last week and the additional cleaning practices we have in place, the following will steps will be enforced:

  • Essential office employees will telecommute as often as possible
  • Access to our production and warehouse facilities will be restricted to essential workers only
  • Extra precautionary measures will be performed prior to the start of each shift and before anyone enters our facility

PTP is committed to servicing our customers and remains operational at this time. Please contact your CSR to confirm open orders and review your company’s operational plan during this health crisis so we can work together to ease any disruptions.
Our thoughts are with those who are afflicted with the virus, and we are committed to
preventing/limiting exposure and will continue to update our response procedures as new information becomes available.
