This week, we had the privilege of hosting participants from the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce’s Educator in the Workplace program. The initiative brings local teachers, counselors, and school administration into real business environments so they can gain firsthand insight into the skills and experiences students need to succeed after graduation.
During their visit, educators toured our facility, learned about our operations, and spoke directly with team members about career paths, training opportunities, and the day-to-day work that powers our organization. These conversations help bridge the gap between classroom learning and the evolving needs of the modern workforce.
By opening our doors, we aim to support a stronger connection between education and industry; one that ensures students are introduced to the reel-world applications of the concepts they’re learning in school. Programs like EIW play a vital role in strengthening our regional talent pipeline, deepening educator understanding of local career opportunities, and preparing students or long-term success.
We’d like to thank the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce for including us in this impactful initiative, and we extend our gratitude of the educators who took time out of their schedules to visit, engage, and learn with us.
As a company, we are committed to supporting workforce development in our region, and we look forward to future opportunities to collaborate with the education community.
